Safe Manual

Additional Information:

• In addition to the electronic lock, this safe has a mechanical lock.
• The key for the lock is kept by the host/administrator and will only be used upon request by a guest in his/her presence.

Functions:

• If the code entry was successful, the green «OPEN» LED will light up and two beeps will sound.
• If the action (e.g., code change) was successful, the yellow «WARNING» LED will flash twice and two beeps will sound.
• If the action was not successful, the yellow «WARNING» LED will flash three times and three beeps will sound.
• The flashing of the yellow «WARNING» LED signals an input.
• If the green «OPEN» and red «LOW BATTERY» LEDs light up at the same time, the batteries must be replaced.
  • Please inform the host/administrator about this.
  • After replacing the batteries, the code must be reprogrammed.

Vault blocking:

• If the wrong code is entered three times, the safe will lock for five minutes and start «beeping» for 20 seconds.

Audible signals:

• 1x at the push of a button
• 2x when the correct code is entered or when the programming mode is entered
• 3x if the code is entered incorrectly

Programming the code:

• With the door open, the «RESET» button must be pressed, the yellow «WARNING» LED will light up
  • (the «RESET» button is on the back of the door, behind the battery compartment ➤ see image)
• During the programming process, the yellow «WARNING» LED lights up.
• The code (3-8 digits) must be entered and the button «#» or «*» must be pressed to confirm.
  • Simple codes that are easy to guess (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) should not be used!
• After programming a new code, it should be tested with the door still open!
  • If everything works, the vault is ready for use.
  • If not, repeat all the steps.

How to open the vault:

• Enter the correct code
• Press the «#» or «*» key
• Turn the handle about ¼ turn clockwise and pull towards you.

How to close the safe:

• Close the door
• Turn the handle about ¼ turn counterclockwise
• You will hear a «click» as soon as the vault is locked.
